I know this is different from everyone else's picture of a fabulous father, since everyone will probably choose their spouse. It made me realize that not every fabulous father is human. Every year for the past 3 years, this bird couple make a nest on the top of the light in the smoking hut. It took me all of my lunch hour to capture this shot of the father bird helping to care for the young birds. You can barely see the beaks of four of the babies. I know this is the father bird because he had more yellow covering on his belly than the mother does. His dedication in helping to feed them is just amazing so I think he deserves the fabulous father spot.
