My trusty Bernina

When I had to think of an important and overlooked item at home for Lain Ehmann's LOAD challenge this month, my ancient sewing machine came to mind. Of course I had to sew on the page, and it didnt like sparkly thread much! For over 25 years (and it was second hand when I got it) it has made baby clothes, Christmas stockings, patchwork quilts, and even the jacket I made to go with my wedding dress! They may have laughed when I took it in for a new engine last year, but it was worth it - it does everything I need! The picture of my three children - at least 22 years ago! - is hysterical! I have it in a frame marked 'Bless this Family' - it always makes me laugh! We were at a wedding and all three of them were just fed up with having their photos taken!
