I made this box using the We R Memory Keepers Kitchen kit from the store. I did purchase the WRMK chipboard letters seperately as they are not included in the kit. The box was homemade to fit 6x6" pages. This is nice so I can participate in recipe swaps for 6x6" pages. And when I make my own I can get 4 pages out of a 12x12" paper.

To stick the paper to the box I used a glue stick (for s'booking). I applied the glue all over the surface paying special attention to the edges to prevent lifting. I laid my paper that was pre-cut just a little bigger than the surface I am covering. I used a paper nail file (those cheap ones you get that come 10/pkg) to file off the extra. As I would go around the box I did lay the paper on the edges on the side that already had paper so that I wasn't roughing up the freshly laid paper to the other side. Then I'd gently sand that edge when I came to that edge, just to give it the sanded edge for consistency. To stick the embellishments I would suggest using glue dots or something with a bit of depth and very sticky. You don't want to come to your project in a few days and find pieces of it lying in front of it. The feet on the box are 1" flat topped balls from the unfinished wood dept at Joann's. They are glued on with wood glue. My dh gave me the tip that when using wood glue apply just enough wood glue to both surfaces then place item on. He then put something heavy on top of my box for pressure and let it sit overnight to dry and cure.
