I love it too. Maybe you would like it better used in a different type of LO, such as one about yourself - maybe. In my humble opinion, this LO is about a dog and I don't see a connection between a dog and doodling. I used that same pp on a card that my kids made their dad for Fathers Day last year. If you read the words, it has a summery vacation feel and many words cut out, lend themselves well to Fathers and what people do for Fathers Day. I think you should try doodling again, but on a different kind of LO, a more light hearted one so you will like it more, maybe one with flowers on it already. I see you had a lot of practice doodling flowers-in Math class. Thats too funny. Math teacher not so interesting huh? Kids doodling like that in class now---> drives teachers nuts! And they were the generation that doodled in school like you did. LOL I think that is so funny. What goes around comes around they say. If you look at my background soon, right now I have a background that has flowers almost like the ones you doodled here. I've seen this paper in stores and I believe I have it in real life as well. That would be a great complement to the PP or PP like it, I think.
I tried to push out of my comfort zone and try a new technique with this layout. The hot new trend is doodling, and lord knows I spent enough time doodling in math classes in high school. I figured I could doodle with the best of them. So here's my first attempt at it. I don't love it. I don't hate it. I don't think it's an effective use of the technique in that it doesn't really strategically enhance the page, but it pretty accurately portrays what it was--an experiment.
