The LOAD challenge prompt for today was to look at our possessions and scrap them in a quilt style. I chose hexagons - they are the quintessential English style of patchwork quilt! I put in some of the things I use and love daily - from my scruffy comfy shoes, to my posh new Coach purse (gift from my daughter) and my glasses - shows my age, hey?! but I got to thinking that possessions extended to 'my' family and 'my' husband and 'my' home and 'my' church - and all of these are mine to share, and not to be too possessive with! I had to add some journalling about this, and have hidden it in a concertina hexagon under the flower. The little pink Scottie dogs were buttons on an old pair of slippers that had to go - but not before I'd saved those buttons!
