We were driving along the coast road when on holiday last December in Maui when we came across this fabulous...fence! It doubled up as a bus stop - there is a little seat half way along, and a pedestrian crossing - see the sign! But it is mainly a fence - and so typically Hawaiian! As part of the LOAD challenge we were challenged to do something we hadnt done before, so I chopped up a photo - I hope it looks as though you're looking through a window frame. I also used another technique for the first time which is the faux stitching - I used the paper piercer around the edge of the yellow central panel, and joined the holes - not with thread, but a metallic pen! Great fun trying out new ideas.
