Give a Cheer
These are photos I took of Cassie October 13, 2009 - I was waiting for her to get her stuff ready to go to dance class. The black & white pic was my POD that day.
This is my example for the February Four Categories Challenge - Category Two ~ Color: Black & White +1. My +1 is pink. The twist is to use at least one flower on the LO - I have one black flower.
For the following challenges:
1) February 2 Page Sketch.
2) February Sewing - I machine stitched in black around the edge of the page and in both black and white and with both straight and zigzag stitches in various spots on the page. There were two twists - to stitch an x or a circle on the page. I did both - I hand stitched 'xoxo' under her name on the left side.
3) February Girls Girls Girls - my LO #2.
4) VLB to do a love themed LO.
In addition to the plain white and black cs's, I used 12 different black & white pp's and 1 pink on this LO. There are also black rickrack and scraps of 2 different black & white ribbons. I had so much fun digging stuff up for this page. I used a pink heart brad for the 'o' in 'I love you' on the right side. I stapled on the b&w houndstooth ribbon near the file tab at the top right, and then I used a sharpie to color the staples black. The steampunk hearts are b&w chippie pieces from an old Me & My Mind's Eye set that I forgot I had.
