This is for the MSC Week 3 Bonus. All I can say is I'm glad this is a "Bonus" and not a page for votes - not my best work. To top it off, I got a "This card cannot be used" message on my camera, so I had to take this with my cell phone. The blurry photo is probably a good thing because I'm not in love with this page!
My first Valentine's Day with DH in 2004 - only we were 4,000 mi apart that year. (He was living the in UK.) He sent me 2 dozen red roses, and I took a photo of me with the roses to email to him. Came across some this photo on a CD I had saved and thought it would be a fun one to scrap -- I wil need to do a better job for my page about this year's roses! :)
This started off well, lol. I cut the rose, the strip of hearts and "Red" with my Silhouette. I decided to pop up the rose over a piece of red cardstock and the green base cardstock for the leaves. Popping it up skewed the whole thing, and the photo just looks lost on the side. I tried to do something cool with the stickles - fail! Didn't check my tiny alphas to make sure I could spell "are" (out of A's) - fail! At least it's a sweet memory.
I tagged the color of the Bazzill cardstock that I used, but the actual cardstock is not in the superstore. It's "Intense Kiwi", orange peel texture.
