I told my parents that I would make them a scrapbook of their trips to Alaska and to Hawaii. This is the first page I finished for Alaska. My mom took dozens of beautiful photos of the landscap that all looked like postcards. I narrowed it down to this one. They are leaving next Friday for Hawaii, so I have some time to finish. I used the sketch from the Nuts About Sketches blog. I cut the hexies from the Accent Essentials cart and the lettering from Plantin Schoolbook. I actually handdrew the arc because I couldn't find a template the size I wanted. I am submitting this to the February challenges Design Seeds and Cricut. The Design Seeds colors were pale blue, aqua blue (I think), cranberry, plum and light lime green. I loved working on this. This journaling reads, "There are limitless, beautiful landscapes in Alaska, USA. An amazing reminder of God's creativity. Genesis 1:10. I can't believe how bad the lighting is on this, sorry about that, it is so striking in person. TFL.
