This is my entry in the final round of the Swirlydoos UDC.

I made my background with light molding paste, using Crafter's Workshop stencils: Grandma's Doily on the surface and Mini Cell Theory on the sides. When all was dry, I randomly stamped the surface with a newsprint stamp and Jet Black Stāz On and then sprayed on three different shades of Glimmer Mist.

Next, I stripped a piece of corrugated cardboard and painted it with Gesso and misted it with the same shades that I had used on the canvas. I then put this aside to dry.

I cropped my photo into a rectangular shape and made a mirror image and printed them both. After cutting them in thirds, I matted them with a narrow band of light patterned paper. Meanwhile, I cut six rectangles from a second sheet that were a bit larger and ran them through my Distrezz. Next, using a third sheet of paper, I measured and cut two large rectangles that would serve as a background and punched one of the longer edges and ran all four sides through the Distrezz. These where all arranged in layers and glued and then adhered to torn pieces of the corrugated cardboard.

For my additional technique, I chose to use Miranda's foil tape tutorial. I covered a piece of chipboard and then cut out some wings using the Heart/Wing Sizzix die. Next, I covered a piece of the Dusty Attic small Potion Jars chipboard set. I ran all of these through my Vagabond, using the Diamond Plate/ Rivet Metal texture fades. I then applied Antique Gold Rub & Buff, dried them with my heat tool and then sprayed on several layers of Boardwalk Glimmer Mist, drying between applications.

I've added a few metal pieces from my stash, along with trim and Glitz Teeny Alphas from prior kits.
