Give a Cheer
This was the second set of pages I created for the Swirlydoos Ultimate Designer Challenge Week #5. I used larger paper scraps for the backgrounds, which I painted with Lumiere paints and misted with water to blend. I them wrote my saying which reads "I had to think long and hard about this CHALLENGE I am working on.. I have a lot of FEAR inside of my, so I asked myself, what am I the best at? Long sweeping lines, lots of COLOR, a bit of WHIMSY, lots of LAYERS (each one of the letters here has another layer under it...) and TEXTURE, of course! (Under the texture is molding paste, glass bead gel and cheesecloth). But I know that if my work comes from my (heart), it will be liked, and that will VANQUISH all of my FEAR." Then I touched the pages a bit with gesso and modeling paste through a stencil, and some doodling here and there. Unfortunately, I did not make it to Week #6 of the challenge... :-(
