This is just gorgeous Jen...everything you touch turns into a masterpiece!! Scrapping with chocolates and champagne sounds good...perhaps I could become more daring with techniques!! Love this!!
Jen, I ditto what Nan (Nancola) is saying...I hinted at xmas that I would love to have one of your creations to hang as an xmas decoration. Like any work of art, if I like it, I am MORE than willing to pay for it. Wouldn't that be fun??? Those birds are marvelous!
Gorgeous Jen - love the birds and the BF chipboard frame - a definite FAVE fore me - btw - this LO made me check out the DX mixed media ink - end result, I had to order all 16 colors - can't wait for them to come ~
Jen, this is AMAZING! I am absolutely loving your pages without photos.....may be the mixed media feel to them...not that your photos aren't always sensational (actually they are some of the best I've ever seen) but I am sensing a change...I cannot find the right word.....your work is becoming more like art....(not that I didn't think your work was like art, because I did :) )......if that makes any sense at all. Here's a random thought: Etsy shop for these such type creations. Of course, you may already have one, and in that case, I feel like someone who is dunning someone for money, when I didn't even check to see if they had already paid. :) I'm just saying!
Today starts the Feb blog hop at ZVA Creative. Join us!
Each month, the design team tries to showcase the many different colors of crystals and pearls that ZVA Creative produces. This month, I am working with champagne/chocolates....gosh how lucky am I to be combining a few really great things - chocolate, champagne, ZVA bling and pretty papers.
I had to keep the champagne and chocolates strictly related to the ZVA flourish colors I selected lest I get some silly/crazy results on my scrap page. Scrapping with champagne does sound interesting - BUT I had just as much fun with the champagne colors and bling.
My Robins are resting on Blue Fern Chipboard (Royal Bird stained with Tim Holtz Walnut photo stain and topped with Vintage Photo Distress embossing powder.
I used the following ZVA Creative products: ZVA CRB-04CB-104 Triumph - Champagne/Chocolate crystals ZVA CRB-05CB-117 Flourish -Champagne/Chocolate crystals ZVA FL-04CA-111 Leaves #1 1.5" ZVA FL-04CA-135 1.5" Graceful Rose - Taupe
Please stop by the blog for some details and close ups - the blog hop has some great prizes. http://scrap-escape.blogspot.com/
