Layout about my childhood.
Papers: Graphic 45 French Country collection. "JULY" calendar from Tim Holtz
Flowers:Prima
Journaling small tag on left: This is my Aunt Pauline. I remember being in the garden with her. It was a really hot day. It was quite common to let little girls run around without a shirt.
Longer journaling: We were on my grandparent's farm in Catlin, Illinois. My Grandfather, Leslie Novaria, bought the farm about 1938. Aunt Pauline said that she was in 7th grade when they moved. Mom & aunt Marian were in high school. I remember mom telling me that she wasn't happy about leaving town.
These papers are called French Country. I thought they were fitting for these pictures. After all my Grandfather's mother was French. Her name was Palmira Quinett. Aunt Pauline said the her dad called his mother Lolly. She lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She died when Aunt Pauline was a freshman in college....1943?
