This is the page kit I made for the "non-valentine's-y" love group in azbrat's show off swap.
I hope the color scheme is nice and non-valentine's-y! :)
This is definitely one of the more elaborate kits I made.. The printed background paper is actually a big stamp that has dictionary definitions of love, peace, harmony, etc on it (I used the stamp to make my own background paper).
on the journal box and the edges of the quote on the tag, I used a silver pigment ink pad to "sponge" the edges to highlight them a little bit.
The small hard to see thing in the lower corner of the journal box writing area is a heart shaped snap/charm (whatever it is that has the eyelet back but no hole in it).
On the tag, I stamped the quote:
"we can do no great things, only small things with great love - Mother Teresa"
and used photo corners to accent it.
The deco squares were made by stamping in black on white and in white on black, the heart stamp is from Stampin' Up's bold shapes hostess set.
the embellishment kit includes 2yds fiber, 4 antique-silver eyelets, and a mesh heart eyelet.
Hope you like it! I had a lot of fun making this one and am really happy with how it turned out :)
