Wow I love that layout. As someone who ttc for 11+yrs before having my DD this past June. I can certainly appreciate the statues. A group of gals from my IF suport group Hopeforfertilty took a trip to Jersey to the Ripleys Museum to see the statues there they tour the world . 9 out of 10 girls got pregnant when they got home. I think its great.
Great Layout, and Congratulations. I know how heartbreaking it can be to go through those treatments and be disapointed. (My friend and cousin are going through it now.... I cry with them each time it doesn't work) I'll have to tell them to plan a trip to Orlando!!!!
I really had fun with this page. Read the journaling to see what it's all about! TFL!!
Journaling: Jason and I had been married for a couple of years when we decided to start trying to have a family. After a frustrating year of trying on our own, we saw a specialist who said we needed to undergo fertility treatments. After two unsuccessful tries, I was depressed and disheartened. Jason decided a break and a Walt Disney trip was just what I needed. We stayed at the Animal Kingdom lodge, and there were a lot of African artifacts. I asked an employee at the store if she knew of any fertility statues that may bring me luck. She didn’t have any, but she thought there was one located at the Animal Kingdom. After much searching, we found it. I made sure to rub it and take pictures, in case that helped. We returned home at the beginning of October and underwent another treatment. On October 15, we got pregnant. Coincidence? Who knows. Either way, I am so grateful for our beautiful son.
