I took this picture of my Neice on her 14th Birthday. I was 14 when she was born so I created this special LO for her.

Journalling pulls out from behind photo and reads:
I was 14 years old when you were born and now you are 14 years old. I can’t believe it. You have grown up so fast. I have so many happy memories of you from the last 14 years. I remember your spunky little personality that was present even at a young age. We used to watch “Barney” for hours (don’t worry I won’t tell any of your friends).
When you were 4 years old, your Mom went to England and I watched you for three weeks over the summer. What a great time we had! Every day when we woke up, I would ask what you wanted to learn about that day. I’ll never forget the day you answered, “Lava!” I said, “Do you mean Volcanoes?” to which you replied, “No, not volcanoes…just lava.” I packed you into the car and we drove to the Logan Public Library where we checked out books about lava and paper mache and a movie called “Nature’s Fury” which showed volcanoes erupting. After we learned all about lava we constructed a paper mache volcano, painted it and put baking soda and red dyed vinegar inside. We made our volcano erupt over and over again.
Your love of learning was so insatiable that I decided to teach you to read. We got some starter books and every day we practiced together. Each day you got further and further and I was amazed at how quickly you learned. By the time your Mom returned from her trip you were reading entire starter books by yourself. What a smart kid!
I have watched you become a young woman and I love your sweet heart. You always make people feel loved, appreciated and special when they are with you. I admire that so much about you. I can’t wait to see what life brings to you and what you bring to life as you become an adult.
