First Cut

My son's first haircut, at 17 months old. I hand made the vellum envelope to hold a lock of his hair and secured it to the page with a metallic brad (I wanted to be able to remove the envelope if I needed to). The diamonds were cut out of unknown patterned paper. I cut the shapes for the barber Pole and used the ribbon sewer tool to create a means of threading the red ribbon.
