Give a Cheer
I loved these photos so much that I did a page. I have a hard time with journaling, so this was a good challenge considering there was no story attached to this memory. I hand stenciled and cut the butterflies from blue printer paper and taped small pieces of patterned paper behind the negative spaces. This was a challenge for me also in that I have a difficult time mixing patterns and colours. I journaled along the top of the butterflies wings instead of trying to fit a journaling box into the layout. Instead of stitching around the paper, I used a pen to simulate a stitched edge.
