Give a Cheer
I always take my tree pics the night of the 23rd after everything is done and ready for the next day - all the presents are wrapped and under the tree, the house is clean, and the decorating is done. One reason I hate scrapping Christmas pics is that they are so similar year to year - another reason is that it's hard to come up with titles for the same stuff year after year too -- SO for my 2008 pics, to do something a little different, I took a cue from the naming of software versions.
This is an example for my March Four Categories Challenge - Category Three ~ Technique: Handmade Flowers with the twist to make 2 or more. My dd and I made all three of these together - two are water distressed Tattered Florals, and one is a folded flower.
This is also for the March PageMaps, Etc. Challenge - Sketch 3.
Cassie had a Web Design project at school a few weeks ago where she had to create a four page web site that included her own photos so she asked me to help her with the projects she needed to create a scrapbooking site with 3 tutorials. We made these two types of flowers, and we also made the tags with resist stamping/embossing and Glimmer Mists. The best part is that now I get to use these items we made together on a page :)
