I made this for a friend. His wife is having a "Gender Reveal Party" for the grandchild they are expecting. He asked me if I could use my craft stuff to make a template for a onesie. I told him to just give me the paper so I cut a bunch of pink and blue onesies. I used this polka dot paper as a test sample to determine the size. rather than throw it away (we aren't expecting babies in my family in the foreseeble future), I decided to make them a layout with it. The onsies and baby are from the Cricut New Arrival cartridge; words are from Alphalicious and Jubilee cartridges, the green block is from the Jubilee cartridge as well. I cut our "girl" and "boy" from the Ashlyn cartridge and ran them through the xyron, with a button for the dot over the "i" in girl. Because they are scrappers, I left them attached to the xyron strip, so when they know the gender, they can substitute the white oval with the gender name with the right adhesive. I also used white paper cut to the size the photo should be; it is mounted on foam dots. I left the paper on the foam dots, ran tape across it and attached the faux photo. The papers are miscellaneous from my scrap bin. Used EK Success and Fiskars border punches; and an old sizzix die for the leaves. Flowers are miscellaneous paper flowers.
