Journaling reads: He's more than just the army kind of hero. He's easy on the eyes, and easy to love. He's my hero when he does dishes after dinner and walks Bear every morning and every afternoon, even on weekends (and Bear is technically my dog)! He's my hero when he makes late night runs to the store for feminine products and chocolate; when he does laundry on lazy Sunday afternoons, and when he gives me a hug and a kiss after I've had a tough day at work, even after he's had a tough day at work. He's my hero when, even after taking some abuse from my family, and I get frustrated about it, he still takes up for them, even though they never know it. We're so blessed to work across the street from each other, and only five miles from home; he's my hero when I am remiss all too regularly to pack lunches, and he comes to my rescue to fetch and deliver lunch for me. The front desk receptionist tells me I'm a lucky wife, that he is a good husband and don't I know it! He is... my everyday hero.
