Absolutely spectacular! I love images of the moon!!! This one that you used here on your page is amazing. And you scrapped it beautifully and with so much creativity! I love it!!!!!!!
wow This is gorgeous with the rich blue/gold combo. so many techniques. Have heard of the Utee but haven'y used it yet. I don't do much wet embossing so this could be a way for me to use up some of my embossing powders. Just scatter and heat..
Super layout, like it so much , the colors are outstanding, drama! Love love Love it ! And I have to learn from you that I have to scrap what I like and not what people expect. Good lesson for me to not get away from myself! Fav fav and fav! Happy eastern to you!
Another awesome multi media page - I'm wondering if you specifically know what you're going to do before you start out, or if you have a very general idea and go with the flow. I'm also wondering what you used for the middle background - is that satin fabric?
Thanks for looking. An image by Alphonse Mucha. The metal at the upper left is from Quick Silver. I put some rhinestones and lumiere paint on, dimensional magic. Also from the same person is the blue gem at the upper right. I put it on a brad and put some seed beads around it. Also the clear diamond shaped bling around the edges. Thanks for the materials! I want to thank Jan Hobbs . Her blog describes melting utee by heating from underneath the paper. The crystals dont blow around . It does take a real long time though. This is watercolor ppr. I sprayed it with water . While wet i sprayed with dylusions. At the end i painted with ultramarine acrylic paint, with dimensional magic on top of it. The whole thing was shiny till the acrylic took the shine off. The round cardboard is gesso, acrylic paint, then utee and lumiere paints. Both the bg and round part took a long time, theres lots of layers. I spent way too much time trying to figure out stuff to put on this, embellies. The bg is busy so i had to keep it small. The bg also has some alcohol ink on it.Silver embossing powder on edges of bg ppr. You can get this and other paintings by Mucha by going to free Alphonse Mucha clip art. The wings have utee on them also, and when i heated it the acrylic paint under the silver pigment ink bubbled up. Im not sure if silver alone would bubble. I know Renea heats puffy paint and it comes out great. I thought it looked pretty neat here. Also you can see 2 diamond shaped things on the wings. Thats from some bling trim that Quick Silver was nice enough to send me. I called this The Moon because that's the name Alphonse Mucha gave to his painting.
