This is a nursing collage my mother "commissioned" me to make for her and her 5 college friends. My mom graduated from Texas Women's University in 1959 with a BSN degree as a Registared Nurse. When they first started, it was called the Texas State College for Women. She has kept in contact with 5 of her fellow classmates all these years. They meet at least once a year and faithfully go to all of their reunions. What's funny is my mother really didn't care for Nursing. She tried several aspects and eventually went into teaching, which she loved and retired from. When I went into Nursing she was very hesitant for me, but as a LVN it worked out.

This page morphed on it's own. I had a challenging time getting everything she wanted on it plus the little embellishments. This could have easily turned into a full album and not just a 12 x 12 page. Now, I have 5 more to do just like it. :)
