These are pics from just after entering the canal. . . what an amazing feat! I was told to read the book "The Path Between the Seas" and I thought. . .ugh. . . a HUGE history book. . .NOT! I couldn't put it down, it was awesome, and made going through the canal so much more interesting! I used multiple papers, my title is chipboard, it was grey so I added some brown/copper to it, my round journaling tag, rub ons, some awesome ribbon from a friend in New Zealand, it was all wrinkley and I just kept it that way, a little frame/arrow to mark the canal on the map, and for the main title page I printed out my main picture on 8x10 white cardstock, then I printed it out again on clear sticky 8x10 paper (for labels??) anyway, I used my cutter and cut the clear paper shorter than the printed cardstock and layed it on top - making the center darker/clearer. I love the way it turned out. :-)
