I lifted this idea from MaryWhite who posted an altered art piece back in 2009. She doen't appear to have been on this site in years, but I'd like to acknowledge her beautiful work and hope someday she will see my thank-you toher for sharing her crafts!

The photo in this is an 8x10 (trimmed down a little) that I took last summer when my friend Cindy came out to visit. The day before she went home we spent time at Pike Place Market. We had gone on the Market Ghost Tour & The Chappel Tour. The lady who owns the tour business had just opened an espresso shop a week or so earlier, located straight ahead in the photo, just under the theater sign. Right above her shop is the seafood stand where they throw the fish that has become an iconic place of Pike Place.

There was a car parked on the cobblestone street that looked a little out of place so I covered it with I believe a Tim Holtz metal frame and used tiny type alpha stickers that say Ghost Tours & Espresso and then in the lower right corner I cut with my Cricut the address of the tours and espresso shop. The 1499 I used the Ornamental Iron 2 cartridge & the Post Alley I used the Art Nouveau cartridge.

This was really fun to make, but the hardware adds up on the pocket if you don't have that stuff just laying around!
