This photo is of my mother as a child with her mother and father on my Aunt's wedding day. I stamped, tissue papered, distressed and stenciled the background. I have to give credit to Gabriella Pollacco and the tutorial on her blogspot for the inspiration on the background. The layout that inspired me is on Gabriellep gallery posted on 26 March 2013. The green leaves were sent to me by a sweet scrapbook friend SheilaMarie. Thank you sweetie! The two yellow-orange flowers were made using punches and chalk. I purchased a package of paper doilies at a second hand store. The doilies were a little discolored (a light dirty brown). I soaked one doilie in plain tap water for about 2 minutes. Remove doilie from water and blot gently between a dry hand towel. Let dry. You will now have a nice white doilie to work with.
