"yeah, baby!"

these are tags I made for one of the Pastel groups in Daisy Mae's tag swap (I had pastel blue). I decided to go for a baby boy theme. the stamp I used is from one of the Stampin' Up! Sellabration sets - it is a bunch of images with little phrases at the bottom. When I got my stamps, I cut off the phrase separate from the image so that I could stamp them separately (I mounted the phrase to another side of the wood block that the image was on).

I glued strips of dark blue cardstock across each tag and then stamped the phrase "yeah, baby!" in Versamark on the tag below the strip. I stamped the image (a baby onesie) and the phrase on white with navy blue ink, matted on the dark blue cardstock and popdotted the matted square over the strip.
kind of simple-looking, but I like them. I am wishing I had had a good dark blue fiber to use instead of the pastel blue, I think it might have looked more complementary, but oh well. (anybody in the group who gets this and wants to change the fiber, go for it, I won't be offended! :D)
