This lo is all from materials in my scrap box (except the brads) It is a two-page lo about our recent guest reader program for Dr. Seuss' birthday.
Journaling reads:
On Dr. Seuss' birthday, we had a guest reader program at school. Roger read to my 1st grade class. He chose, "If I Ran The Zoo," one of his favorite Dr. Seuss books from when he was a boy. It's about a boy who wants to travel the world and bring back exotic animals for his own zoo. For added effect, Roger wore his pith helmet. Needless to say, the kids loved it!
