Fabulous layout and story! Love them at 10 still so sweet! I like the orange color and snowflakes. Having a child with a December birthday as well I always appreciate it when people separate the birthday from the holiday. Beautiful work as usual! :)

Birthday Skating

My youngest has a birthday right on Christmas (20th) and we have had some innovative parties over the years. However, when he was 10, he asked specifically if he could go outdoor skating with his Dad and me! No mates, no siblings, just a kid and his folks! We went into London, and skated at Marble Arch, had a fabulous time, and finished off with Mexican food. A perfect day! We didnt have cake, or streamers, or balloons, but it was a great birthday, just the same - hence my row of candles on the birthday background paper!
