I put this gift from my dear sis on a mirrrored cabinet in my foyer. I now have a table and chairs to sit in the foyer to look at it while eating or spending quality time with my animal friends. Of course I love it and am so happy to have this beautiful work of art. I never get tired of it. Thank you Melissa!!
WOW!!!!!!!!!!! This page is simply GORGEOUS!!!! I'm just loving all the beautiful textures and techniques used for this page! A total fave for me!! Your gallery is amazing! xo
This is stunning! I love, LOVE that photo taken at the beach! Your layout compliments it perfectly and is so full of wonderful elements and creativity! I think it is amazing! Happy Mother's Day!
I of course had to zoom in and catch all those background details and textures you always include! I love the damask stenciling, how you used the brads (maybe buttons) with the trim wrap~just glorious, I feel like I am right there~
LOved this the first time, but I always enjoy your description of the creative process-love what you did with the cardboard, and there are so many awesome details to look at here!
STUNNING as ever, my friend. That orange/yellow/gold just makes this layout look so rich, it truly enhances the lovely sunset photo! Your sis will love this!!!
So glad you said, thought I was going mad?? Lol. Can't remember word for word but am sure about loving all the jewels. Also, really like the greens & of course the texture! You have matched sunset perfectly with burnt oranges too :)
Stunning, stunning, stunning. I love all the seed beads that you used on the cardboard in the background. I love all the marvelous details that you always seem to incorporate so effortlessly!!! Fabulous!!
I misted teal ppr with gold acrylic paint mixed with water. Then put on a layer of clear gel medium. Then lumiere paints, followed by texture paste with a stencil. I painted the paste with lumiers and outlined it with black pen. With the corrugated cardboard I used gesso, then gold paint, but realized it would take forever to cover the whole thing, so I sprayed with dylusions yellow zest. I put utee on it , lumiers. more gold paint . Quick Silver was nice enough to give me the metal flower at the very lower right. Also the square gem at the top of the photo and at the left edge. At the top left of the blue butterfly under the pic is a Swarovski butterfly, very small. Theres also one on a stickpin by a green flower at the bottom right of the lo. I made this for my sister. The photo was taken at Greenport, Long Island.
