I recently did a layout based on a childrens book and this got me thinking of another favourite from when my kids were little, a book by a Canadian Author, Robert Munsch called "I'll Love You Forever" ....a story about a mom that holds her little baby boy and rocks him in her arms saying "I'll love you forever" and she continues to do this over the years, through toddler, teens, etc. no matter what mischief he's been up to. The story goes on to talk about how the boy becomes a man and later has children of his own, and she has become too old and sick to visit anymore.....the young father gets in his car and drives over to his mothers house and gently picks her up in his arms and says to her "I'll love you forever". I always had a hard time not tearing up when I read this one to my kids, but it always stuck with me how important it is to let our children know constantly how much we love them and to actually speak the words.

I made this layout using the inspiration from the May Mood Board from Maja Designs (which incidently is also based on a childrens book this month).....I used the layers of greens and whites on the board and used their "Life In the Country' paper collection. I also used some of my old favourites from my Dusty Attic Chipboard stash. For more details and closeups come have a peek at my blog

Thanks so much for stopping by today and for the sweet comments, the mean a lot to me and I read them all! xo
