First, HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to all of my friends here at Scrapbook.com!! This cabinet was literally started last night as my precious Fiancé Elizabeth wanted me to put something together for her Aunt for her visit today. I can't take credit for the painting of the cabinet because that was already done by Elizabeth a few days ago. While I have have been wanting to do a Tim Holtz-Configuration Box for awhile, this is an actual wooden cabinet that she found at a garage sale for $1! It is very similar but obviously the small boxes cannot be removed. The only thing I did to the box was to tissue tape the door frame itself, the crafting tape on the inside "lip" of the box and placed various papers as a background for each box. Then we uses various embellishments that are mostly from the Tim Holtz Idea-ology stash I have accumulated, however there were some embellishments like the framed canvas and the wooden spools, that we just picked up at LHS. I did pick up an actual configuration box that I am starting to work on so hopefully I can have it up shortly. Thanks for checking it out.
