Our group ballet this year isn't exactly classical...well, it's instrumental music but it's not classical like it was last year. This year, we're doing music that's called "Epica." Epica is the kind of music that you hear in the background of movie, and TV show trailers but you never hear in the actual movie or TV show. It's that music that gets you all hyped up to see something because it enhances the trailer. The funny thing was that I had already gotten into epica before my ballet instructor picked this year's music so I was the only one who knew what it was. Actually, we're using two pieces of epica and the third is the Hobbiton theme from "The Hobbit" (what we're doing our group pointe piece to) and I got all fangirl giddy over that one. The costume isn't really bad except the skirt sheds glitter like nobody's business so we all wind up covered in gold glitter!
