I made this with the help of my dh. I used a chair leg for the main part and then drilled holes for the dowels. I then attached it to one of those boxes that look like a book that I found at Michaels. I filled the book with sand and glued it shut. Attached a drawer pull to the top so I can pick it up easily and attached some caps on each of the dowels. I love how it turned out.
