This is an old shelving unit I used to have in my kitchen before we moved in with my MIL, it has 5 shelves and right now, on the top shelf I have small plastic square containers with all my brads and those boxes are all stacked in a clear box, even though they are organized by color/theme, I still feel they don't get used enough because I don't think about getting up and looking through them all, I feel I need to locate them somewhere they can be seen by me more, also on that shelf are all my various clear containers of buttons organized by color as well, but same things goes for them, this shelf also holds my containers of fabric flowers also seperated by color, I have a basket that holds misc. twine, glitters and the one paint dabber I own. The 2nd shelf has my cricut and cricut cart caddy, unfortunatley it is kind of hard to get to here and this shelf tends to accumulate everything and anything I set to the side while scrapping, the 3rd shelf hasa basket with my cling stamps, not good at all, basket with wood stamps, a clear lock-lid box with all my ink pads and baggies with theblending foams I use for each color, I don't like the digging tht this one entails, a clear drawer type container tht I have all my chipboard shapes and photo corners all in seperate baggies I have to dig through or more likely, don't use. Shelf 4 has my stickle caddy and 2 plastic containers of ribbon, again digging and out of sight also 3 different sized clear iris containers for scrap paper which at this moment and in photos are on the floor, again digging because the only way I have these seperated is by size, 5th and last shelf I can't really see or get to with the location of the shelving unit to begin with but it has extra stuff on it like extra clorax cleaning wipes, my sewing box which holds my thread, misc sew-on patches, straight pins needles, some spools of decorative ribbon that were my grandmothers. I also have a big square box that is full to the rim with all my grandmothers spools of thread.
Next to the shelving unit is a 3 drawer cubby with a shelving cubby attached that hubby bought for me at Target, 2 drawers hold my punches, shapes and border, no organization there and out of sight, the other drawer has paints that I don't have many of, some small $1 studio g ink pads I don't use and some thermoweb peelnstick dbl-sided adhesive sheets that I had plans for years ago and don't remember what now, lol. Above that unit is a large clear square cube that was used for displaying product at my job that was no longer being usedI actually have 2 of these, this one is holding all my idea books:magazines, page maps book, 2 binders with sketches and magazine ideas that I cut out before deciding to keep my magazines, (I really need to purge these) and a binder that I started using to organize but then decided I really don't have as much inventory as most people and so why bother, lol. lastly on the top of the cube is my paper storage, all my CS in in ROYGBIV order and also pink, white, black, browns and greys. All of the CS in in a CM paper storage unnit with dividers, then all my PP is in cropper Hopper paper storage divided by them and I have a few manufacturers sections, then I have 12X12 paper packs standing up between these, it's not that I think the storage is a bad choice or the way I have them seperated although I am always up for suggestions, my problem or hot spot is that I think they need to be at a better "view" for my so I don't always have to get up from crafting to go through, dig through the themes or whatever to find the right paper, thinking maybe puttin it on an eyelevel, for when I am at the workspace, shelf on my large shelving unit
