Very cool picture AND layout. My son and husband gave me their used guitar strings also and I have yet to use them but I do have plans in that regard like you have used them. All four of us have or do play guitars, me since I was about 14. My older brother taught me some chords and I picked it up pretty quickly and went from there. I used to play all the time when I was single but after marrying and moving away from my family who I played and sang with it made me terribly homesick so I gave it up for quite awhile. I only play now and then but do enjoy hearing my boys and husband play when they are in the mood! :-)
Awe Jrab, this is adorably done Love the story maybe he'll get a chance at being famous one day... Love how you used the guitar strings...and love the banner at bottom...
Oh My..... This is completely amazing!! love the cool way you used the guitar strings. Love the background, foreground, effects, colours..... I just basically REALLY like this, lol!
I think this is a wonderful idea and a beautiful page. My son loves his Guitar so I would like all the details of how you came about putting this page together. I love this layout. Scrapalcoholic.
OMGosh...that pp almost becomes part of the photo...what a great match!! The guitar strings are perfect here; awesome torn layers, corrugated and the bg stamping and masking are amazing! Gorgeous lo...filled with superb textures!
WOW...WOW...WOW...so very perfect! The blue torn paper, the photo, the snowflakes, the bricks, the guitar strings and whatever is going on under the photo is very cool!
I took this photo of my guitar playing husband. He started playing when he was about 10 and has no greater joy for a hobby. I used the old guitar strings on this and an old guitar pick. His favorite brand. He never ever leaves the house without a pocket full of picks.
Now on to the guitar strings. Whenever he changes strings, he has this habit of winding the strings into circles so that they do not poke the eyes out on the garbage collector. awe, how thoughtful.
BUT, no fear on that front any longer since I take all the used strings. I love them. They are soooooo cool and sooooo him.
When I saw this 13Arts collection at the Flying Unicorns, I knew I had to dig up this photo of him.
I created this using the sketch from PaperHaus Magazine sketch for June.
I also used the Arrows stamp by 3rd Eye Stamps by Drycha.
You can see details on my blog. You can also find a link to my new ETSY store on my blog as well.
Thanks a million. http://scrap-escape.blogspot.com/
