There was about a 16" gap between the 2 desks that are in my scraproom. I couldn't find any ready-made shelving that would fit & that space being wasted & unused was driving me crazy! So my handy husband built me a custom 4 shelf unit out of scrap wood & metal framing. Now it's functional, usable not-wasted space!
