Very cool like the colors and how you were creative in putting the photo and postcard together. Very nice work. I wasn't even born until two years after St. Helens blew her TOP! But it amazing how much damage a volcano can do. It would be a scary thought when Yellowstone decides to blow. I hope I'm not around for that. Because one day yellowstone will blow it all part of nature taking it course.
I don't photo shop, so the large picture is a combination of a picture I took of Cindy & a postcard of Mt. St. Helens erupting.
The journaling reads: As I was looking at this photo I took of Cindy sitting at the Johnston ridge observatory amphitheater and trying to decide how to scrapbook it, I couldn’t help but imagine what it would be like to actually be there that fateful day.
Though we couldn’t see the mountain due to the low clouds I wondered what that picture would look like with the mountain in view. Then I envisioned the mountain erupting.
So for fun, I grabbed one of the postcards I bought of Mt. St. Helens blowing her top, and I fussy cut around the amphitheater and glued them together so it appears Cindy is watching Mt. St. Helens erupting in the distance.
The 3rd photo on the bottom is what the picture really looked like.
