The paper is simply white card stock which was torn similar to the look of snow drift. Then, I used chalk to tone the top. The snowflakes are an off white color that matches the snowsuit the child (me) is wearing in the picture. The quote seemed appropriate. ("The memories will linger on, long after the footprints are gone.") This is by far one of my favorite layouts!
