So BEAUTIFUL! I found this today while at work & saved it on my favs, then I came home & scraplifted it! I think it turned out pretty well. Thanks!
Thanks, everyone!
lesleymark - No, the flower petals were super easy with my Coluzzle graduated circles template. I just cut the oval out of the patterned paper using the template (an oval circle and then one just slightly smaller for cutting out the middle). Then, once I've got my oval cut out, I just glued it on top of vellum, then cut around the edge...no measuring or anything for me. Hope this made sense!
Here's a card I decided to keep "blank." When I know what I'll need it for, I'll write "Thanks" or "Happy Birthday" or "Congrats" or whatever in the middle of the flower. I've been doing this a lot lately...gotta have maximum flexibility, KWIM? LOL Thanks for looking! - Popped the flower up with Fun Foam. - Flower petals are made out of vellum outlined with patterned paper. I used my Coluzzle template with graduated sizes of ovals to cut out an oval from the patterned paper, as well as the center of the oval. I glued this on top of vellum, then cut around the edges. This gave me a petal with vellum in the middle. No measuring anywhere. LOL - Leaves are loops of ribbon. Slots were cut in the patterned paper at the sides of the stem and the loop of ribbon was pulled through from back. - Distressed the ribbon with ink to better match the distressed patterned papers.
