These are some friends of ours.
I used texture paste for the two butterflies on the bottom left and right. The clear one in the tear away was clear gel medium using a dry embossing stencil . I used packaging cellophane.Theres a smaller one at the upper right corner.
The lavender lace on either side of the photo is from Quick Silver. So is the little fan to the left of the pic.
The little purple flowers on the borders and at the top were with a ms punch. SheilaMarie used them in a lo and I really liked them.
If you look close at the lavender fabric flower to the right of the pic you can see a little green bird. It has a Swarovski pink butterfly on one of its wings.
I hope you all like this!
The green bird is about an inch above the page. I bought what looked like a bouquet of them , and I thought, I like this. Theyre on wires.
Some people have been asking how I made the clear butterflies. I used the Martha Stewart embossing stencil, and clear gel medium. Instead of using paper, I used the cellophane that scrapbooking supplies come in. I used it just like texture paste. It does take awhile to dry. A couple hrs if you don't put it on too thick.
I brushed mine with some gold acrylic paint. When dry I cut away the cellophane. I used the gel medium the same way as texture paste that is.
If you want to , you can make your own stencil with a punch and some cardboard.
The medium is called Gloss Gel.
