Melissa, this is SO beautiful! I'm so glad I decided to pop into your gallery to see what you've been up to lately! I love how you did the title -- all those different latters! The pictures are incredible, and the paper goes perfectly with everything. Great job!

What a lovely layout and it reminds me very much of my grandma. She was a farmer and of course avid gardener! I may just scraplift this! Thanks for the inspiration.
The journaling is so well-written (and so clearly heartfelt) - it adds beauty to this lovely layout. I like the way you used stiches to blur the otherwise sharp lines between the different papers. That's a nice touch. This is perhaps my own tastes speaking, but I do not love the different types of letters for the title... I find it a bit hard to read. I spent a few moments wondering what FWS was before I noticed the smaller letters between. I'd suggest perhaps just the large F, with the other letters smaller and more uniform...
Otherwise, this is lovely! :)
Oh wow; I love your journaling!! I didn't expect something that heartfelt about flowers; it's wonderful!!! And, the whole page is just gorgeous! I love everything about how you put it together. Awesome work!
A 2-page spread, which is unusual for me. Various flowers from my garden. I took over 30 photos and these are the only ones that turned out! I'm saving my pennies for a dSLR.
The hidden journaling reads:
"My love of gardening grew long ago, when I would visit my Grandma and explore her vast collection of blooms. We would always harvest and make a bouquet to take home to Mom, who would display it with pride in her favorite vase. Gardening isn't all about making my lawn pretty, although that is a great benefit. It allows me to remember the springs and summers that I spent with my Grandma, tending her garden, before she passed away. Gardening is a way for me to bridge the gap between now and then and remember her. Her scent, always of blossoms, fresh dirt, and clean laundry, comes back to me when I'm in my garden. - June 15, 2006"
