Golly me, what a great resist you achieved!! I am not very successful with this & so don't try it too often. However, you describe 'how to' so well I may try again.
Aside from that, I adore any distressed, vintage, bit steampunky type piece & you addition of butterfly & cool stamping just adds to final great look!! Love this, it rocks!! :))
I am not sure if I like this, but I learned a new technique from my card making magazine & it was fun to do. I stamped the background with clear embossing ink & sprinkled with white embossing powder, tap off excess & heat to melt. Then I took TH black soot ink & rubbed it all over the card. After it dried I took a damp cloth & wiped off the ink from the memories stamp & wa-la! The top part is an Inkadinkadoo stamp & I used embossing powder on it as well.
