I was trying to use them for rhinestones, journaling tags, brush markers (and sometimes other markers) etc. but I think I will start using the pigeon holes as intended... for small paper pieces. I think that looks best and will help me with how I scrap. I will keep a few of the plastic containers for crops though.
They *are* great, though, in that they are inexpensive and come in a variety of colors -- gives me an idea for using some of my kids' discarded ones. They fit very well in your slots, too! But I understand about wanting the right size for what is stored. What *do* you have in them?
This is some of my flower storage. I think I need to pare down on my flower supplies. I don't like that I have to stack glass jars. I found the divided shelf (which now sits on my desk) at Goodwill for about $3 I think. The jars are mostly jelly jars that I bought in a pack. The two domed jars I found at Goodwill. I think they are especially cute.
