This is one of my favorite pictures from my 2012 trip to Peru, probably because there are not 1, not 2, but 3 alpacas! If you look closely at the one on the left, he looks like he is making eyes at the camera - he cracks me up! This was taken at the ruins of a fortress/temple called Saksayhuaman, near the ancient Inca capital of Cusco. It was a real challenge to scrap a Peruvian-themed page because there just aren't many scrapbook products that fit the style. Scrapbook companies, we really need more exotic scrapbook stuff for travel LOs! Anyway, I came up with the ideas for the pom pom trim, the tassels, and the golden alpacas, and I was lucky enough to stumble across the medallion and perfect embroidered trim on Etsy. I'm actually pretty happy with how it finally came out. TFL!
