Give a Cheer
I made this for a young mom that I've known since she was a small girl. She and her husband just had their first baby, a little boy!
The card paper is the new Primrose Stack by DCWV. It is such a beautiful collection of papers. (I inked around the edges with the felt tool applicator.) I also inked the edges of the doily with Tim Holtz Broken China and Iced Spruce and then sprayed it with the Perfect Pearls mist.
I cut out the verse from the Little Sprout 12x12 sheet and distressed and inked the edge with the Iced Spruce also. The butterfly I printed from my Print Shop program and fussy cut around it and then used glitter in its body. I also fussy cut around the baby picture and used 3D foam squares to raise it a little. Did a little inking around the edges also to make it stand out a bit and used the glitter glue here and there to give it a little bling.
Added a little black pearl to the bird's eye for dimension.
Not sure where I got the little metal filigree piece but I added the Queen & Co. pearl to the center to match the color scheme.
