This is my lo for the JULY Monthly Sketch Challenge, Sketch #1, which can be found here.

This is a pic of my dd. She dearly loved Sesame Street at this age. Her Elmo was her constant companion. However, this might be the only pic I have of her actually watching Sesame Street. The pic included a lot of Christmas decorations, but I wanted to focus on her, Elmo and the tv show, so I found a frame that would crop the pic to show what I wanted. I was torn between the yellow version and the red version (Big Bird and Elmo colors), so I decided to use both. I cut away part of the red frame so that part of the yellow would be visible. I could not find a single Sesame Street themed item in all of my stash!! So, I decided to use the rainbow pp because it seemed suitable for her age, the alphabet pp, because the alphabet is very important on Sesame Street, and I wanted some numeral pp, but apparently I don't have that, either! (Geez, I need to go shopping! LOL) I decided to use the striped pp, just because I liked how it looked with the others. I decided to mat the pps in the basic colors and since I already had the red frame, I used yellow, blue and green. I created the Sesame Street sign myself...a green rectangle and half circle matted onto yellow. I used an old set of alpha stickers, even though they don't match the style on the Sesame Street sign I found at their website, but I think they look kiddie-ish. The sketch didn't have the bow element, but I had an "oops" moment and the bow saved the lo!
