This is Fourth of July 2010. The photo of Cassie is not quite b&w - it is a 90% gradient. The firework photo is one I took that night at our town's display.

I used a May Monthly Sketch Challenge sketch I didn't get to then.

This is my example for my July Four Categories Challenge - Category Four ~ Theme: Stars & Stripes. I did the twist to have a circular element in my design.

This is for:
1) July Sewing Challenge with the twist to sew a star. I sewed the rw&b star at the top of the ribbons, and I also sewed on the buttons.

2) July Stamping Challenge with the twist to stamp a star. I stamped a border of stars above the photo block and also on the red pp below the tix.

3) VLB Challenge to do a red, white, & blue LO.

The chippie scalloped circle was a gift from Eileen (ncyankee). Thanks! I covered it with gesso and cut a circle of the striped pp to go behind it. The blue ribbon is velvet. I punched 3 sizes of star from cs and used them as a guide to punch holes to make the star pattern. Thanks to LesleyC and MelissaW for letting me use their floss since I forgot all my sewing stuff for our crop. And thanks also to SaraS for letting me have the large 'USA' letters from her stash! I love my WTTS girlies!
