We went to a firetruck parade a few weeks ago, and while I took tons of pics to print out and put in a cheap photo album for Brian to look at, I didn't want to scrap them all! So I made an 8x8 collage in Photoshop and then sent it to print on an 8x10 canvas. Then the smaller "filmstrip" photos are all 2x1.75.

Oh, and the bottom got cut off in the scan... the red really goes all around the layout.

A few of your favorite things: Dad. Firemen. Flags. Policemen. Candy. To have all of these people and things combined into one evening made for such an incredible time for you. We had the perfect spot to watch the parade, and you loved every minute of it. With a big smile on your face, you waved as everyone went by. One lady in the parade even made a special trip to leave a handful of candy for you (much to the other kids’ dismay). Brian, I’ve never known anyone to have the obsession with flags as you do. I’m excited for you to grow up to learn and understand the importance of the men and women who serve our country, as well as our flag and everything it represents. June 2006.
