Oh well done you - I'm so impressed! I was wondering how you (I!) would do the circles, and you've completely nailed it. I'm so pleased you enjoyed it too!
Oh Jenny I knew you would have fun with that lo and you absolutely made this your own. THis is just as cute as can be. The Kool-Aid theme is perfect with the 'circle-y' pp and the pink of the title looks just like a Kool-aid color to me.
I tried to keep pretty true to the original lo (I mean, who wouldn't when you have such a cool lo to lift LOL). I did add the little pennant/tag at the top for some journaling and I used Dew Drops in random circles instead of the dots/brads(?) in each 'blank' circle in the original. Mt circle-y pp was a piece that I've had for a long time, but immediately came to mind when I saw the original. I searched for pics that would go with the circle-y paper and came up with these pics of dd and thought they worked perfectly together. Then I searched for papers to layer and decided to go with kool-aidy/girly pp's instead of the 'clean look' of the ogininal. I cropped and matted my pics..just the white mat didn't make my pics stand out like the original, so I added the dark mat, which seemed to also tie in the dark background of my pics. I replaced the sailing boat on the circle of the original with a pitcher of refreshing drink on mine. I used a set of thickers for part of the title and a set of diecut squares alphas for the rest.
